Shadebane's Shackspace

I hail from Northern Michigan, just a tad south of the Mackinaw Bridge (seen in picture). In the summer I spend a great deal of time outdoors, this picture was taken on Lake Huron from my canoe. However Michigan has a rather cold climate and I detest the winter (for the most part). This gives me ample time for gaming 7 months out of the year.
Mainly I am a PC gamer, I geek out about keeping my hardware up to date and PC well maintained. Ever since I got my first gaming rig...
(AMD Athlon 500mhz, 512ram, Voodoo3 3000 Video, and some soundcard company that went out or was bought out)
... I have been addicted to the PC platform. Like most kids I grew up playing atari, nintendo, snes etc. But that faithful day I got a gaming rig changed my habits immediately. The first time I played Half Life on my PC I knew I was done with consoles.
Of course the times have changed, and consoles can catch up to the power of the PC for a month or two, and present a lot of good games. I still however prefer my games of the PC variety. Don’t get me wrong I will sit down and play a good console game, or Wii bowl. When it comes to FPS, RPG or RTS its always gonna be PC.
